wormwood-plant

A perennial aromatic shrub, wormwood grows wild along roadsides, fence lines, pastures and fallow fields. Its apparance is characterized by dark, green leaves covered with soft gray hairs.

The plant was long used as a medicinal herb. It taste intensely bitter, smell strong and contains an essential oil.
Wormwood was one of the most important herbs in the medieval European materia medica. Wormwood has long been used as an aromatic bitter tonic for stimulating the digestion.

Its known for its vermicidal properties. It increases the acidity of the stomach and the production of bile.
One of its components is sesquiterpene lactone which works like peroxide and is believed to weaken parasite membranes.
Tea of wormwood has been shown to be effective for pinworms and roundworms. Wormwood can kill adult and developmental stages of a broad spectrum of parasites.

The antimalarial properties of this plant where discovered in 1971, when a low-temperature ethyl ether extraction proved to have antimicrobial activity against a number of organisms including the malaria parasite.

This Herb can be prepared in the form of tea, or as a liquid extract; however, the pure oil of wormwood is rather toxic and should not be swallowed.

The preparation of wormwood tea is very simple. Simply boil two cups of water and then remove it from heat. Next, add four teaspoons of the dried wormwood leaves or flower tops to it. Cover the potion allowing the wormwood to be soaked in the boiling water.
I suggest you to drink the tea in empty stomach three time daily.

Alternatively, you can take two capsules every day for detox purposes.
I suggest you Artemisinin  Concentrated Herbal Extract
artemisin wormwood

Natural LLC's Artemisinin (a sesquiterpene lactone) is the active component isolated from the natural herb Wormwood(Artemisia annua).
This pure form provides a much higher concentration than the whole herb itself making the need to take hundreds of pills obsolete.
Artemisinin is currently being used in early research by Henry Lai and Narenda Singh of the University of Washington for its activity against cancer as described in their published paper in Cancer Letters.
