Worms in HumansInformations about Worms in Humans Human worms have essentially two ways to manifest in the body. The most common parasites in this class are tapeworms (you can get by eating raw meat of pigs and cattle), F. hepatica (you can get by eating some raw vegetables including watercress), the Diphylobothrium latum (you can get by eating meat fish undercooked or raw), the Anisakis (you can get by eating raw fish) , the Opisthorchis felineus (you can get by eating meat carp and tench raw or undercooked from the Baltic region and Siberia), the Clonorchis Sinensis (you can get by eating meat of salmon, carp and tench) the Paragonimus ( you can take eating crayfish and freshwater crabs raw or lightly cooked in all tropical countries), Echinococcus granulosus (you can get by eating raw vegetables from a garden where running around a dog that was in turn fed with raw meat ), Trichinella spiralis (you can get by eating raw meat of pork, wild boar or horse or other animal fed itself with such meat). The most common parasites in this class are the roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides that you can take touching the damp ground contaminated with the eggs of the parasite). These parasites are very dangerous worms in humans since they start to perforated the intestine and then it can enter the bloodstream to reach the lung and the stomach to return later in the gut. According to the epidemiologist Dr. Lawrence Bracco many allergic and asthmatic reactions are triggered precisely by this worm. Additionally, these larvae produce the neurotoxins that cause insomnia cramps. Other common parasites are Pinworms: this worms, also known as threadworm or seatworm, are common human intestinal parasite, especially in children. The medical condition associated with pinworm infestation is known as enterobiasis, or sometimes oxyuriasis. Infection usually occurs through the ingestion of pinworm eggs, either through contaminated hands, food, or less commonly, water. Infestation of pinworms are quite common in children communities and cause insomnia and irritability, particularly among children and also nervous disorders, dizziness and convulsions. Poor hygiene, not washing hands after using the restroom, eating in non-sanitary restaurants, restaurant workers not washing their hands, and eating undercooked pork can create parasite problems. Remember to avoid the classic risk behaviors mentioned above, (meat or raw fish, water, or raw vegetables in countries at risk, etc.). But to avoid the parasites in a stable manner is also necessary to follow a healthy diet, reducing to three meals a week the products that create putrefaction (milk, eggs, chicken, fish, meats, sausages, red meat, etc.. ) and increasing the use of vegetables and fresh fruit. The poultry is preferable to red meat and cheeses from goat and sheep are better than those of cow. Remember that the parasites are composed of proteins that the body is usually able to digest, so a good digestion with adequate production of hydrochloric acid and proteolytic enzymes are able to eliminate many of the parasites ingested through the mouth. Finally don't forget that a good intestinal peristalsis (contractions that are responsible to arrange for the intestinal contents to the rectum) make life difficult for parasites, many of which are expelled through regular and abundant defecation. So, a healthy balanced diet, rich in fiber derived from fruits and vegetables reduces the risk of worms in humans.
