After a period of time, does the acid in apple cider vinegar cause any contamination of chemicals from the plastic container into the apple cider vinegar?

Plastic is more durable than glass and can be squeezed to eliminated most of the air to lessen the effects of oxidation. Since plastic containers absorb chemistry over time, I suggest to replace plastic containers periodically.
