The one-day fast seems to be the ideal for most since it will teach you control or discipline.
Short-term fasting can also correct weight problems, energy imbalances, blood pressure, sleep disorders, nervousness, and many other ailment or disorder.
Not eating food for days can be very difficult but a one day fast is the easiest thing to do.

A 24 hours fast can last from dinner one day to dinner the next or breakfast one day to breakfast the next.

Instructions: eat no solid foods; instead drink plenty of fresh pure water and juice made of equal parts of apple and carrot juice.

Apples contain malic acid wich cleanses the liver, kindney, stomach and intestines. They are also enzyme-rich.
Carrots are a good source of Vitamin A and Beta Carotenes, providing anti-ageing and cancer-fighting antioxidants.
This beverage will naturally detoxify your liver, and boost the immune system as well. They will also help you to lose some weight, boost your energy level and balance your hormones.

To make this detox juice, you will need 8 medium carrots and 2 apples. It is important to juice the entire vegetables and fruits, so only use organically grown foods to avoid pesticides or other toxins.
Mix in your juicer.

During the morning drink one or two glasses of juice. Drink one to two glasses for lunch and have the same for dinner.

Get plenty of rest and relaxation, if possible spend lots of time out of doors. Sunlight will stimulate the body cleansing processes. Also avoid strenuous work.
