We are literally immersed in a great variety of toxins from air, water, foods... Chemical are everywhere, even in items such carpet,cosmetics,toothpaste,gasoline etc...The list is end-less! We are like those fishes that live in a polluted lake whose body is doing its best to survive. Some individuals have the ability to remove toxins from the body more easily than other, however, a toxin, by definition, is every substance that cause harmful effects in the body. Toxins can inflame and irritate tissues, they can cause lesions or can alter cells' function.
You can certainly feel good right now, but how could you be sure that the constant exposure to a polluted environment,saturated with toxins, wont cause a slow degeneration of your body and your brain? Personally, I'd rather act in advance.
Since we cannot completely remove toxins from the environment, we must learn to deal with them the best we can.
