Juice fasting is a great way to remove environmental and dietary toxins from the body for general health.

When you begin juicing for a fast, it helps to see some sample recipes that give you ideas of where to start.

After you have been juicing for a while, you will get more creative and you will make your own recipes using vegetables and fruits.

I suggest you to use the following combinations, as a foundation for your juices recipes;

Beetroot and Apple

Ingredients:
3 Apple
250g/80z Beetroot

Juice the beetroot and the apple and mix well. Put into a tall glass and garnish with a slice of lime.

Carrot and Lemon

Ingredients:
250g/80z Carrot
1 clove of peeled Garlic
1/2 sqeezed Lemon

Press the garlic and carrot through the juicer, mix with the sqeezed lemon and serve.

Green Leaves

Ingredients:
1 Apple
Small handful Coriander
150g/50oz Grapes
15ml/1tbsp Lime Juice
30g/1oz Watercress

Quarter the apple. Juice the fuit, herbs and watercress and then stir in the lime juice.

Cucumber

Ingredients:
1 Cucumber
2 sprigs of fresh Dill
1 clove of peeled Garlic
1deseeded Green Pepper
1 Tomato

Juice the ingredients and serve chilled.

Feel free to diluite any or all of these juice recipes with water.

Tip: to clean vegetables anf fruits use 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar mixed with cold water and let it sit for fives minutes.
