Colon Problems

Colon Problems? You are not alone!
colon problems

There are colon problems which only last for some time (acute) and others that are still present (chronic).

In chronic cases there are acute constipation, bloating, flatulence, etc.. In these cases not only the intestine has lost its normal shape, but is often full of mucus attached to the walls.
The accumulated mucus and the toxic substances produced by an altereted bacterial flora (ammonia, phenol, etc..), create the conditions for many diseases and produces a weakening of the immune system.

The following are some some of the most common Colon and Bowel problems:
  • Diverticulitis
  • a common digestive disease particularly found in the large intestine.
  • Colon polyps
  • very common in men and women of all races who live in industrialized countries, which suggests that dietary and environmental factors play a role in their development.
  • Diarrhea
  • Colitis
  • one of a group of conditions affecting the tissue that lines the gastrointestinal system
  • Chronic inflammation.
  • Constipation
  • .

    These colon problems cause:

  • Slowed transit of products of digestion.
  • Irritation of the intestinal mucosa
  • Change in pH.
  • Decrease in lactobacilli.
  • Proliferation of bacteria of putrefaction.
  • Toxins of putrefaction.
  • Presence of toxic substances due to fermentation (acid, CO2, oxalic acid, etc..).
  • Presence of intestinal parasites.
  • Presence of mucus attached to the walls.
  • Increased permeability of the intestinal mucosa.
  • Increased absorption of toxins from the capillaries and the lymphatic system.
  • Accumulation of drugs in the connective tissue of the intestinal mucosa.

  • Outside the colon:

  • Poisoning of the blood
  • Liver overload
  • Hypovitaminosis
  • (most of the vitamins will be absorbed by the abnormal bacterial flora).

In the colon there is a significant bacterial flora that may be subject to changes making it very harmful to health. Balanced flora is very useful for the body and creates a state of equilibrium. However, when bacteria are unwanted (by fermentation or putrefaction), the balance is altered and this creates the intestinal dysbiosis, a dangerous condition.

It should be noted that some foods present in excessive quantities ( seeds of legumes such as beans, soybeans, etc.. And cartilaginous tissues) may facilitate an increase in intestinal putrefaction.
Other foods, however, are able to facilitate the task of good bacterial flora (bifidobacteria, lactobacillus, etc..) . Therefore, witha good choice of our food, we could regulate the digestive function and reduce the toxins resulting from intestinal fermentation. This will also help to reduce the bad smell of feces.

A bad diet (too much sugar and protein, wrong combination of food, poor and bad chewing), use of laxatives, antacids, antibiotics, etc.. cause the development of various toxins and bacteria, both very harmful for your body.

If you consider the large area of the gastro-intestinal mucosa and its great capacity of absorption, you will be understand as an alteration of intestinal conditions creates a lot of toxic substances (toxins) which, after being absorbed by blood, are distributed in the body, creating different disorders and diseases.

From this distribution of poison comes a series of diseases which seem to have no relation to the colon: headache, nervousness, anxiety, depression, bad breath, rhinitis, acne, dermatitis, eczema, cronic fatigue, aging skin, joint pain, chronic arthritis, etc..
