Apple Detox Diet

Before to read about this diet, I wish to share some apple facts:
1. Apples contain soluble and insoluble fiber, that reduces appetite.
2. Studies show that the soluble fiber, or pectin, becomes a sticky gel in the stomach preventing the body from absorbing sugar too quickly.
3. Apple pectin is also known to help reduce cholesterol.
4. The apples contain substances with antioxidant properties necessary to combat the effects of aging on the body.
5. Apples, having a high content of fiber, are highly beneficial for constipation because they are a natural laxative.At least two apples should be taken daily for proper evacuation of bowels. Apple Diet Detox:
First week (eat 3-5 apples a day!)
Day 1
Eat five apples.
Cut each apple into slices and eat slowly.
Drink a glass of skimmed milk or soy with every apple. Between meals, eat a small pot of natural yoghurt.
You can also drink tea, coffee and water.
Days 2-3
Eat like the 1st day five apples, but for lunch and dinner add a colorful salad seasoned with olive oil and vinegar.
Days 4-7
Eat three apples a day, choosing a meal from a menu plan (below).
Menu Plan:
Breakfast
1 apple, cheese omelette (30g of light cheese, 2 eggs) or milk and cereal.
Mid-morning A yogurt
Lunch1 apple, 2 crackers with spinach and light cheese
Dinner 1 apple, chicken breast (100g.) with steamed broccoli and half cup of rice.
Second week
Monday
Breakfast
1 apple, 30g of cornflakes with milk.
Lunch
1 apple,
1 toast with 2 boiled eggs, or 1 tomato with
100 gr. of Light cheese.
Mid-afternoon
One Yogurt
Dinner
1 apple,
Roast chicken with grilled vegetables or salad with chicken / salmon (120g.)
Tuesday:
Day Detox (as day 1 of the 1st week)
Wednesday
Breakfast
1 apple , a cup of Milk with 30g of oatmeal, a tablespoon of almonds and some blueberries.
Lunch 1 apple, 1 omelette with
Mushroom and light cheese (60g).
Dinner
1 apple,
Mixed vegetables (zucchini, onion, carrot, broccoli, etc..) served with 50g of rice.
Thursday:
Day Detox (as day 1 of the 1st week)
Friday
Breakfast
1 apple
, 30g of cereals with skim milk
Lunch 1 apple,
2 crakers with light cheese (60g) or a salad with chicken(100g).
Dinner
1 apple
, Stew meat(100g.) in the oven with peas and broccoli, or 100gr of steak grilled with mushrooms, tomatoes and salad, or two hamburgers with salad.
Saturday:
Day Detox (as day 1 of the 1st week)
Sunday:
Free day in the Apple Detox Diet.
Following this apple detox diet program, in addition to detox your body, you can lose more than 2kg in 2 weeks.
Apples have always favored the loss of weight. The natural sugars in the fruit helps to cut the desire for sweets.
